Saving Bondi Pavilion

Mark Gould, was looking for someone to help him finish his short film about a social media campaign, mounted to save Bondi Pavilion from what was effectivley privatisation of their community hall. The campaign was so successful that at the council election, Waverly's Liberal council was demolished with a Labor council winning power on a platforem of Saving Bondi Pavilion. With an army of high profile supporters including Sam Neil, Michael Caton and Jack Mundy, the film was controversial and ultimately, the ABC chose not to broadcast it, claiming a lack of objective balance. My thoughts were that what is effectively a tutorial on how to mount an effective social media campaign was a little dangerous.
